About SplitsWorkout
Other fitness sites explain workout splits. SplitsWorkout helps you choose one, build it, analyse it and take it with you.
Meet Professor Splits
Our mascot is the fitness professor who makes training simple and clear. He turns up around the site with tips, but the recommendations come from the documented rules on our methodology pages.
What SplitsWorkout does
SplitsWorkout connects the pieces of planning a workout that are usually scattered across different sites. You can find a workout split that fits your schedule, goal and experience, build it in the planner, look up any exercise in the exercise library, learn how each muscle is trained in the muscle guide, and estimate your calories and macros with the calculators.
How we approach content
We try to give the most useful answer and the clearest next step. Where training science has a consensus we say so; where it does not — for example the ideal training frequency — we explain the trade-offs instead of pretending one answer fits everyone. We do not invent studies, experts or statistics.
Who writes it
Content is produced by the SplitsWorkout editorial team using software tools for data processing and drafting. We are not doctors, dietitians or registered coaches, and nothing here is medical advice. See how recommendations and calculators work on the methodology pages.
Advertising and independence
SplitsWorkout is free to use and may be supported by display advertising in the future. Advertising never changes our recommendations, and we do not accept payment to rank a split or an exercise.
