Find the Workout Split That Fits You
Choose your training days, goal, experience, session length, equipment, preferences and recovery. You get a ranked recommendation, a sample week and a one-click way to build it.
How the split finder works
The finder scores five proven training splits — full body, upper/lower, push/pull/legs, the bro split and the Arnold split — against your answers. Your number of training days has the biggest effect, followed by experience and goal; session length, equipment, preference and recovery then adjust the ranking.
Every recommendation comes with the reasons behind it and any cautions, so you can see why a split ranks where it does. The rules are published on our workout split methodology page.
What you get
- A best-fit split and two alternatives, with reasons.
- A sample week showing which days to train and which to rest.
- A one-click link that loads the split into the workout planner so you can edit exercises, sets and reps.
